What kind of art project should I do for an art exibition in May.?

There is no theme. I just want to know what should I do. I love photography and I love working with charcoal. A photo of what? And a charcoal piece of what?

My sister did a really cool M&M and skittle candy art of a tree and then one of a bird. I want to do something super cool like that and I don't know how or what I should do? Any suggestion are appreciated.
