Severe case of writers block?

I have a predicament. I have been thinking for 7 hours straight (I kid you not) about something to base a poem on. Somewhere around the 3 hour mark, i sparked something. I worked for 2 hours on that- and only got about 5 stanzas. I decided to drop that. Does anybody have any good main ideas for a poem I should write? Anyone know any tips for busting writers block? Please get back to me. My mind is completely focused on writing a poem tonight.

By the way, if any of you do decide to tell me an idea for a poem, something sad would be nice. Not exactly a love poem, if it is, a sad one. I would like any kinds of ideas, because at the moment i'm not too picky, but something gloomy would be extremely nice.

Hmm, maybe i should explain a little more...The thing is, i kinda wanted this sad relationship to be between a guy/girl.. I work best with poems along those lines...

Well, after a little while of looking around my house.. I kinda was interesting my the sink..Don't ask, haha. The more I turned the handle- the more water was drained. So..Hmm, ive got an idea: A girl who's in an abusive relationship that she cant escape, and every word he says to her is draining her of her life. Like, he controls how lifeless she is, witht he turn of a handle....

You should go for a walk.. Look at the stuff around you and breathe... When you get back you should write again.. Maybe you could write a fresh poem about writers block, or you walk around the writers block.. :o)
