My 7 year old son wants an "Art & Artists" themed room. Ideas?

He LOVES art and sports. He says he wants to be an artist when he grows up. He has taken some art classes and has "Meet The Masters" at school. I'd love for him to love his room and want to show it to his new friends as we recently moved to a new area and he hasn't had any friends over yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe frame pictures of famous artists and their prints, along with his favorite sports in action. Also paint funky artsy colors in his room and pictures of art utensils. Things like that can really spice it up, especially using textured furniture. But you don't want to make it too busy because, like they say, the color of a room can affect your mood while you're in it. An energetic room means an energetic little boy =)
