Hi i was wondering if i could get any opinions, suggestions on this poem i made to make it better please?

Blue
Red
Yellow
Green
Pink
Purple
The colors of the rainbow
How lovely are your colors
Listen with your eyes
After the rain falls down on me
Lord, You send your rainbow to make me know everything is okay
I was nothing and you picked me up in your hands
Your there to light up my day
When I look at the rainbow up in the sky I know your love for me is real
And it amazes me that you can still have mercy for me
How could you make so many wonderful things?
When I see the rainbow I keep on praying and try not to give up
Because your promises are real
Lets paint the world with a rainbow

This is one of those poems that is a straight shot from the heart to paper. There's no symbolism here, just pure emotion from pure words. Therefore I hesitate to change anything. Just clean up the spelling a little.
