Whats your favourite song lyric, verse from a poem or phrases from a book?

Mine is the last verse from Wilfred Owens Funeral Blues:

The Stars are not wanted now, put out every one,
take down the moon and dismantle the sun,
pour out the ocean and sweep up the wood,
for nothing now will ever come to any good.

Lovely idea for a question.

I wrote this more than 30 years ago; still my favorite lines.
It's a comparison of a city to a great bonfire's light;
and now the city is gone.

"But it dies as lights extinguish;
It leaves an ash behind--
A flame of Life, that lingers
On the mirror of the mind...
