Michelangelo was a famous guy in all...but what did he do on his spare time and all that stuff.

I don't think he had any free time, in the sense that he LOVED art so much, that is ALL he did. I'm not even sure he ate without painting throughout the meal.

Now, I've never seen the Sistine chapel or anything so I suppose for his time, this was a great accomplishment. But to see it, eons later, I don't see the big hoopla. It'd OK but no biggie...

Of course, I say the same thing about all the other "big" artists of that time...

Again, all I've seen is pictures which may not do justice to the real thing...
