Ok here is a little diddy by a friend of mine titled "Candles" What you think?

Heros inch their way to the site / Where angels cry for the broken tonight / A level of destruction beyond anything seenbefore/
Affecting everyone,the rich the poor / Broken dreams lay next to broken lives / While through this pain we must strive/ Mothers hold their children tight / While we lay here and count our blessings tonight / Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst / Praying the best won't find us cursed / Light shows through the storm clouds above / As I gather around me the ones I love / Treasure these moments we have together/Because no one knows when fate will break this tether / Sirens go off in the days last light / While someones bestfriend died tonight / Light our candles in rememberance of those we've lost / Because we must carry on, no matter the cost / Mothers hold their children tight / While we lay here and count our blessings tonight / Hoping for the best preparing for the worst. this is the best poem Ive read in a long time it almost made me cry cause at the moment i was thinking of 911 somewhere in the middle of the poem i encourage your friend to write more poem with such insight and feeling
