I need to make a lyric poem about my neiborhood?

i need help to make a lyric poem for my english class it has to show my feelings of my neiborhood and i have mixed feelings about it i started it out it goes like this "Singing and dancing everywhere, everyoneand everything look so fare. everyday and everynight things of glory and of fright. Love around the corner and death around another." thats what i got so far but i need help with the rest

It sounds like you're off to a good start.

How about adding specific people in your neighborhood, maybe people that you regularly see but don't know? The lady who's always walking her dog, the guy who stands on the corner to smoke, etc. Also adding specific details about the types of buildings will add depth to your poem.

End the poem much like you started it: with more broad descriptions of the neighborhood.
