can you tell me what glacial depostition is... me and some friends were wondering this because we heard it before ando yeah plz help?

This is a geological term that describes the kinds of rocks you can find in valleys where glaciers once were. As glaciers slide downhill, they pick up and drag rocks and pieces of debris along, and as they melt, deposit these items further along their route. So if you find a kind of rock that doesn't match other rocks in a valley carved out by glaciers, you can speculate that it was picked up by the glacier and deposited in that spot.
