I heard the song sung above me
Rivers of red curling in the bebop
Harmony on melody is how we like it
A full chord progression sounds best in the rain.
Your hands make the sounds that we establish
Creating the barrier between real and your big dreams
Saying how it could have gone off
Only if words could not be twisted.
I found that day in memory of corkers.
Thought of all that I could never be.
You always said I could get rallied
Only if I followed your piped dreams
So now I am following, flowing right behind you
Waiting for a call from the wild.
Turn me around and face the world to my eyes
Feel the pulse of a secret drum that's calling.
