Is there such thing as a fabric professional or fabric detective?

I have this blanket from my childhood and it's starting to wear out, so i'm in need to find where it's from or actually try to custom make it again. However, i need to find out the fabric and also where i can get this made. does anyone know? please let me know.

The alternative is to take the blanket to a haberdashery shop and they may be able to identify what fabric(s) were used in order for you to make up a duplicate. good luck in you quest.
