Question:

Can some one help me with Commas?

I have discovered that each author??s writes for a purpose. For the reader to understand the massage he / she is trying to tell you through a story.
I have culture reading and have a good understanding about reading I learned to make connections between the authors?? culture, and his her perceptive of life. Melissa Grant said ??Reading is like a muscle; if you don??t use it, it becomes weak and flabby??

I'm not sure if you're wanting this information as instruction for writing a paper, or if you're just trying to understand commas, but I'm going to explain it from the simple understanding commas point. Read your writing out loud to yourself as if you were simply talking, telling a story and not just reading.

Take notice of everywhere you pause (insert a comma) and everywhere there are lists of items (separate them with a comma). The commas give the reader an indication of how you would speak if you were talking to them. The comma is a pause or a breath. Never use a comma on either side of the word "and." Commas are also used to separate dates and separate cities from states. That's it in a nutshell!
