I need some suggestions!!!?
I have to give a speech for Graduation...A long one..well its not really long, its several minutes. (long for me!) But anyway I have to give this speech on wednesday and im reeeaallly nervous about it, I HATE public speaking!... and im really freeked out and dreading it.
I was wondering if anyone had any pointers or advice on Writing/Giving a speech. Or their experiences in givivhg their Graduation speech?

Dont back away from this,embrace it!!You can really stand out and be heard..try to think of yourself as a rock star,or an actress,try to utilize the professionalism that most of them use..Make yourself heard!
Here are some pointers.
1.try and refer to the faculty and student body in as positive a manner as possible as many times as you can,,this will almost always earn you a resounding applause.
2.try to end each paragraph of your speach on a higher voice pitch,while referring to your shcool by name..ex..We have enjoyed our time here at MT KINLEY!!!!
in other words,say the name of your school like it really means something to you,like you are the proudest student to ever attend,,this will also bring applause.
3.never be vague when reffering to people,try and use their names whenever possible.
4.think of a memorable time,one that everyone there will remember,pep it up in your speech and say something like "these are the moments that have shaped our lives forever"!!
5.remembert to thank the faculty and other students who may have been extra helpful in the learning process.
6.(most important) Be yourself,have fun with this,,remember,you will never have another chance to do this....you are so lucky,,,I wish you good luck......Robert.
