Question:

What would Happen If...?

Ok, this OnStar thing is installed on some cars now and if you subscribe you can have them call the police or ambulance for accidents and other crap. If you don';t subscribe, when you push the button you get connected still but with an agent who is there to get you to begin subscribing to the service.
Ok, let's say you don't subscribe to the service and you're in a parking lot or your house or anywhere, doesn't really matter and a guy comes from behind and grabs you, throws you in your car and is trying to rape you. If you manage to push that OnStar button, and the sales guy come on, will they still help you, or would you have to give your credit card information first. Personally I don't think this is a service that you should have to subscribe to, this is a safety device that should be funded partly by government, car manufacturers, and insurance companies. I doubt they would deny sending you help in such a situation, but then again look how the big corporate giants treat us. W

I'm pretty sure you have the wrong idea about onstar. First off, you only have to pay for the calling service or other additional services. If you touch the button and scream help, they will send help immediately. It doesn't cost money for services like that. So you don't have to worry.
