There is not enough information in terms of WHAT the authors need to write, how long, content etc ect. If I came across the site I would probably not enter due to the fact that I'm too lazy to search for additional details.

Ok I see now that there are details, so my suggestion would be to make them more obvious and detailed, nobody likes to read the fine print.
