How do i submit a story on fanfiction.net ??

Question:

How do i submit a story on fanfiction.net ??

i already have a username and i am able to submit on i just dont know how b/c it tells me that i have to submit iot to a document manager but i have no idea what there talking about. can anyone help me?

When you click the login button on the top it brings you to your account options. On the side of that is a list of different options, including Account, Documents, Stories, etc. Click on the Documents link. On the top of that page it has your documents that have been submitted (but not placed in a story). Below that it has a section called "Submit Documents" with what you need to know about submitting. Below that is where you submit your documents. Type a name (it can just be a jumble of letters, no one else sees that). Find your format (story or poetry) and then click the browse button next to the box that says "File on Computer". Then click "Submit Document" and you're document is now on the Document Manager. You can edit it using it and add whatever you need and what you want to take out (if anything).

Remember when submitting a document it CANNOT be in a Microsoft Works format. I always type my chapters up in there and then copy and paste it to the Wordpad. That part may be different for you, though.
