Why can't I change my avatar?

I keeping clicking on "Appearances" but it only shows two pages of the same hair color. I want to completely start over and I deleted it, but it still only allows me to choose one hair and eye color. What could I be doing wrong?

Go on to some other key an click. At times it do stuck for a moment but then it start working.
