Am I weird if I like Shakespeare's play, "Taming of the Shrew"?

I want to know what people think about his play "Taming of the Shrew" 'cause I love it, but other people don't. They say I'm weird for liking the play, and I don't seem to find anyother person who likes it as much as me. It is about a man who wants to marry Katharine, who is a shrew, ill-tempered lady. He marries her for her money, and tames her by being mean to her and not feeding her or letting her sleep. Anyway, I want to know what you people think.
