One way that I thought was great was to take her out to dinner. Talk to the manager at the restraunt ahead of time. Have him do something cute with the ring. Some examples are using the ring as a napkin holder, or putting it in the bottom of her champagne glass. Once she sees the ring, she'll pretty much understand, then all you have to do is say "Will you?" Good luck!
