Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Beowulf has the basic epic convention. It contains a mysterious figure (Beowulf) which saves society from some threat. Epics give us hope that good will prevail over evil. It also gives us an expression of Anglo Saxon values; it shows us the role of kings and the structure of the society. |
