im not very creative right now, and im afraid my layouts are crappy. whats boring, whats cute?

This sounds corny but look at ads in magazines- esp. fashion, their photo layouts with multiples can be quite good, also some catalogs like spiegel and such- its the weight of where the photos are- the different way the faces go etc. We used to hand cut some photos on our layouts but nowdays you'd scan them etc and use paint to crop and change them--go through older yearbooks at your school too- the library will have them.
