Question:

How to remove lens flares from video?

Hello, i just shot a short film on 16mm film, it got processed and telecined and i just got it back, unfortunatelly a few shots were affected by some flaring / light leaks. I'm wondering if there's any way of removing those problems in post at all? I have after effects but to be honest i don't know that program well enough... Any suggestions on what i may do to get rid of the flaring would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

(Serious answers only, please!)

You can't get rid of the flare in the existing video unless you are a wizard at digital editing.
Get yourself a lens hood for future shootings or don't record while panning into a light source.
