Lacking guitar-playing motivation?

Hey guys, I have been playing guitar for a few years now, but not very seriously. I really want to get serious with it, become great at it, and do something with it in my life. I really, truly want to. But, lately I have not been playing at all, maybe because of no motivation, no motive to keep playing, or maybe it's just not for me (I REALLY don't hope so, hoping thats just because of no motivation so I think that.) Alot of the time it is not really even fun, sadly, I think personally because I'm not advancing much. I want to take guitar lessons again because I have noticed them to help before. Has anyone felt like this before? With something the same OR similar, maybe a differant subject but the same meaning? Some answers here would be great, I really need a second opinion from some of you guys, Thanks.

Hey frnd u need to concentrate on guitar playing if u are really intrested in learning its totally up to u no one can fourse u to do so. U should have fun and simply enjoy playing guitar forget everything and just think that u have to seariously learn it if u really want to learn how to play the guitar then nothing should stop u from doing so So my friend just tell ur self that u now really want to learn and would practise playing the guitar because it will make u perfect . I hope i answered to ur question well plz let me know.
