Question:

How to look confident and prepared during oral class presentation?

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

Read the presentation over and over until you have the majority of it memorized. Then write key words on 3 x 5 note cards and number them from 1 to 10 or whatever number you end up with. Now practice giving the talk using just the note cards to guide you so you make all your points in sequence and don't forget any. Keep the note cards in front of you on the stand and only glance at them as a reminder. Turn them over as you make your way through all the points you intend to make so your thoughts stay in sequence with the cards. Sometimes just turning them so you see the words on the next card is enough to keep you on track.
In this way, your presentation will flow smoothly and you will appear to know the material thoroughly. I took two full semesters of communication skills as part of an electronics degree and the teacher videotaped our presentations so we could see our progress. By my third presentation I was amazed at how well I did. I had always been very nervous about getting up in front of a group but that class helped me get over it. The teacher would play the video for the whole class and we each had to write a critique of it. Then she would offer to the class the good and bad points so we would know what we should avoid and what we should improve on. I got an "A" on the last three presentations from the teacher and from the classmates!

If I, the nervous one, can do that, you can too!!!
