No shoes allowed in drama?

Question:

No shoes allowed in drama?

Hi we are not allowed to wear shoes or socks in drama class. I think this is unsafe and unsanitary b/c the floor is rather dirty. Is this pretty common? Do you have similar rules in your school or college?

in my school you can only wear sock during the plays.
