Well both!

Each both have to make a person feel.

Drawing a good picture would have to make a person think "Wow" or just look at the picture and have the person feel and hear what the message is shouting out to them.

Writing a good book is quite the same too. You have to capture the reader into a world that can be similiar to reality or complete fantasy.
