Question:

Were do you send poems?

Like to get them published?

Poetry.com is a scam, believe me, I've been "had" by them. They will publish any poem (good or bad) that is submitted to their site as long as the person sends in the money to have it done. They will send you letters making you believe your poetry is deserving to be included in their next book and ask for so much to include it and then it costs so much more to buy the book in which your poem is included. I just received my book (Timeless Voices) a couple days ago... Oh gee, my poem is on the first page! Yours will be too in your copy.

Legitimate publishers will pay YOU to have your poetry published, not the other way around.

I was absolutely heartbroken when I found out. I went down to my room and cried my eyes out. My poetry is very meaningful to me and I thought I was something special when I received those letters.

Don't let it happen to you! Educate yourself on what's legit and not before sending your poems anywhere.

The second link I gave you give you ways of how to have your poems published by legitimate organizations.
