Dog Fleas and Christmas on the Side
by: Rory Ian M. Bualan

Tail wiggles as lots of jinggle bells play,
waggles as smelly feet pass rotten rags;
Shiny nose stirs as crispy lights go scream,
expands, contracts as Mr. spits a nag.

Plastic covered seats, I love to lie on -
when found at midcreep, a blow to the fur,
sends my poor spirit away to the dawn -
where I lay outside the welcoming door.

Tail wiggles as young candles light the night,
waggles as cans open for a cold feast;
Shiny nose stirs to illustrate a fright,
wrinkles at a feline, an angry beast.

Time to retire and lie where the cold dwells,
not on soft, lovely plastic covered seats
but on a dreamy corner where walls meet
and tiny friends take on a big banquet.

That's a pretty clear doggy point of view - keeps "in character" throughout. I feel like I'm the dog! I like it a lot.
