Help, i need a computer wizard.?

until a few weeks ago i had no empty boxes with an x in the top left corner. now i can,t open certain mail or play games, i can't even go into certain sites because there is an empty box with that x, please help, i don't know what i did to cause this. thank you.

You may be missing certain programs on your computer that may be required to access these applications.

Could be you inadvrtently removed Adobe for pdf or need and Active X control.
