Anyone know anything about a dendan ware 2 faced swearbox?

possibly 20/30s ,who made them ,where ,when and whats its value? any assistance would be appreciated ,ive tried loads of places and noone seems to know diddly squit about this swearbox

I am no expert in these things but thought the least I could do was make some suggestions.
Have you tried 'e-bay' maybe somebody else has one and is selling it - that would give you a rough estimate.
Also you could try antique sites - there must be some around, according to the presenters of 'antiques roadshow' the best place to get things valued is 'sotherby's' maybe they have a website you could try?
Failing that you could try 'googling' the name and description of the item. maybe there is a site devoted to 'dendan ware'?
