Question:

Life is biodegradable art - discuss...?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

Absolutly not.

Before the 20th century and before the camera became widly used art exsisted to represent the world in which people lived. Therefore the main point of art was to imitate life, not the other way around.

In the 20th and 21st centuries there have been some changes. Artists found that it was impossible to beat the camera because it could record more accuratly and quickly. Therefore the artist moved on and a whole new world of art sprang up. However, the fundamental idea that art is based on life remains the same.
