Where is the best kind of job when going into commercial arts???

I am going into commercial arts, i just want to know what all kind of jobs have to do with commercial arts.

I am a Graphic Artist currently for a Beer/ Beverage Distibutor in NY. I Design Billboards, print ads, web graphics, and Point Of Sale materials for the brands we represent ( Coors, Snapple, Heineken, Ect...) It's the best job ever, but wasn't easy to get. The first thing you need to know if you haven't already gotten a degree is get one! And that competition is fierce after graduation so be ready for it! ...Ther are lots of jobs in the commercial arts field....Lots of companies need Artists for various thing like Logo design, Sign Design, Illustrations in books and magazines, Package Design, Product Design the list goes on and on. The best tip I can give you is after graduation, except any job you can get that remotely has to do with graphic art. But keep your eyes open for better opportunity. Get experience and a professional portfolio together, and start moving up the ladder of cool jobs to get into, find one you like and stay there! I worked at countless Vinyl Sign shops Screen Printing Shops, and embrodery places (they stitch intials into your shirts) to get my experiance as a Graphic Artist and than made a move to the "big game" So Basically Take what you can get at first, than find a field yo u want to get into, and go for it! Once you get where you want to be the hard work is worth it!!!
