No. I completely disagree. There is still plenty of room for traditional concert music. Film soundtracks seem to be filled with them. There are also many composers that still write for the traditional instruments. They seem to be disappearing because they don't get any exposure and they aren't exactly chart toppers either. If you look for it, there is still plenty of music in the traditional concert genre.
