They're really, really minimal. You make absolutely no use of any poetic device except sometimes for rhyme. It's pretty much unrelenting narrative carried out in the present tense throughout; they're all just very short stories except with additional line breaks. Completely unadorned.
There are moments where I sort of like it. Allow me to quote:
"What have I done?
There is blood on the
floor. There is blood on
the bathroom sink. There
is a bloody hand print on
the bathroom wall."
It has a directness and simplicity to it that's sort of fascinating, an earnestness that's almost comical. You swing words around like bludgeons, man -- not one for subtlety. It's got something going for it, this directness, this unsophisticated hammering at the reader. Smash boom crash! Blood everywhere, suicide, broken hearts! All rough as hell like you just sat down and wrote it and never looked back.
To sum up: your poetry is very bad, but it's a good kind of bad. It's a sincere, true-blue badness that leaves no kind of doubt about what it is. It's not ironic, or ambiguous, or trendy, and you don't hide anything or hold back. It's the kind of bad that means you'll never be mediocre. Keep writing!
