for a project, i have to add my own scene into the book death of a salesman and i am completely stumped. If anyone has an idea for a scene (can be a flashback) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go back to Willy's childhood and youth.

We only know of the uncle and Willy's admiration of him. Is the uncle a childhood illusion? What did Willy's father do for a living; how did Willy see perceive his father; how did they get along? How did their relationship influence Willy's expectations of his own sons?

Was Willy ever successful in his work? How many humiliations might he have endured all those years trying to sell to clients? What did his clients actually think of him?
