Nudity has been a component of art since the earliest days of cave paintings, and people have reacted to it either positively or negatively throughout history.
If we remember that nudity is simply an unclothed human body, it really is neutral in and of itself...how it is depicted, in what circumstances, and for what reasons will determine the positive or negative aspects of it.
I personally like to be naked as much as possible, whether in public or it private, alone or with others, so my perception of nudity in art is generally positive. Others, of course, will bring their own perceptions to the subject and react individually in accordance with their values.
One thing is certain...nudity will always be a part of artistic expresion, and it will always be somewhat controversial.
