Question:
I need a fictional story line...??
i got an assignment in class and im not a good writer... i need help with comming up for a story line. its saposed to be a heroic tale set in any time period. the hero must have a mysterious past. this is saposed to be 3 pages long typed...so any ideas? i dont want something like "knight fights dragon and saves princess" i need something more origional than that. any ideas would be helpful

Here's a couple......
(1) In WWII, a guy signs up to be a pilot. Since the war is starting, no one checks very hard on his credentials (because they have a shortage of pilots), and he quickly becomes an "ace" (shooting down 5 enemy planes). No one knows the guy because he is a loner, however, there is alot of speculation about the guy's background. The truth is that the guy was a test pilot for an experimental jet in the 21st century that instead of breaking the sound barrier, broke the time barrier and ended back in 1941.
(2) A private detective in current times is assigned to solve a case involving a murder. However, as he investigates, he is drawn into an underground world of drugs and general seediness. A stranger ends up rescuing him from death at the hands of gangster's and then vanishes. He tries to find the stranger, and discovers that it is actually himself from 15 years in the future.
