Question:

Does anyone have experience of being a CNA?

if so, did it help you get in to the scheme of things with being a nurse?

do you think you would have adapted less if you just went straight from school to being a nurse if you wouldn't have become a CNA?

In our nursing program here you have to get you cna cert to be in the nursing program- so- I do know nurses that were cnas before becoming a nurse. They all say it gave them a little heastart because they knew what they would be facing- also in nursing school you are not all on your own on the floor = you are supervised and an instructor should be there- I have been told our RN course is the best and most difficult-- and worth it- NMSU-D
