Question:

Has anyone ever written a screenplay for film or TV, because i need some advice. Any help?

I'm 16, and I've been composing music, now I want to write movies and TV programs. However, I have so many ideas that I cant pick one to write, and its really frustrating me. Also, being a young writer, should I develop a screenplay on a work that already exists, or used one of my own ideas. Finally, what is the best software for me to use to write my screenplay?

Last is first

Any good word processing software will do - even MS Word.

The source is not an issue - what is important is that the idea or story line must grab the reader.

Don't worry about your age - now is as good a time as any to get started. Look at Kevin Smith [Clerks, Dogma] - he wasn't much older than you when he got his big start.

Once you have your screenplay, contact a lawyer in Los Angeles who does "entertainment law." That lawyer will either represent you or will turn you on to a good agent to help you break into the industry.

good luck to you
