Seeing that some girls begin geiha training at the age of 3 can a girl be an apprentice gesha at the age of 5?

I wouldnt see why not, I was watching something on the history channel and this one girl became an apprentice at 15, although it is very rare, it does happen. All depending on the house that they find themselves at.
