Referring to architecture, does "modernism" and "modernity" the same meaning?

Modernism was the whole 'rational thought, art should be about escapism' movement. Modernity is its results (I think)
We can look at a building and say its modern, contemporary, etc. I think that 'modern' architecture is something like Le Courbusier for example. In the time of modernism.
