Question:

Aspiring writer with writer's block...?

I have serious writer's block and I need some "exercises" to get the blood flowing again or something to do to clear my head. Any suggestions?

Writer's block is an awful conflict to experience. Here are some tips from my own collection of anti-writer's block activities:

*Get a big mug of coffee and drink it in a relaxing part of your house or infront of what you're writing on.
*Go for a walk
* Go to the bar and talk out (with a friend) what you are writing
* Call a friend and tell them that you have writer's block
* Switch pens or switch from lined paper to some pretty parchment
*Take a bath and purge your mind from any thoughts of what you were writing
* write in your journal for an hour
* Read a poem or three
*Switch projects to something that has a more immediate reward or gratification

I hope that helps.
