Can Shelby be a guy's name?

I was looking around in my local car magazine and I saw a man named "Shelby" who is awarded as "Salesman of the month". When I saw that, I think "What?" Can that be a guy's name? It's usually a girls name. Anyway, give me your answer.

I know two men personally that are named Shelby, so yes men can be named Shelby. They are also close to their 40's.... Could have something to do with their parents having a love for a classic car.
