okay, so my humanities professor asked us to find an internet source on what a person defines art as, then write an opinion of our own, and summarize the other person's opinion. so what do you all think art is? i'm going to use the best answer for my essay, and give that person the 10 points. thanks!

Art is communication without words. You see a painting and it speaks to you the same way a certain song does. Its the language of the soul. Be it poetry, visual, or physical. Art is imperfect yet beautiful at the same time. It requires little thought and a ton of feeling.
