Question:

Any advise on DOING A BACK HAND SPRING?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

You need to first practice on the basics of a back hand spring: back-bend walk over. Once you have mastered this movement, the next thing that you should practice is doing a back hand spring on a trampoline. This way you can get the backwards motion down on a springy surface. Once you can successfully do a back hand spring on a trampoline, you can now start to practice on the ground. You must have a spotter though, because you will still be uncertain of your footing. The hardest part of a back hand spring is the initial "springing" back with your hands. The sooner that you become more comfortable with that, then the back hand spring will be a piece of cake.
