I wanted to know how much a sofa like this one is actually worth. I bought it four years ago from someone who said it was owned by their grandpa at around the 1940's but i am not 100% sure. even if it is not an antique an you please tell me what price I should sell if for because i do not want to sell it for my list price after seeing the amount of people wanting to buy it. Yes, this furniture is definitely an antique that you could obtain more money for. Most new furniture doesn't retain much resale value, but when you get pieces that are over 50 years old and other such retro items, you are talking good money. Fidning these pieces in good condition, such as yours, is hard to do and that significantly increases the value. Not only that, but the wood and construction quality in your pieces looks very good. I would definitely make sure that you are not being taken advantage of when you get rid of this furniture! Good luck! |
