Which beads or stones are most like crystal quarts?

We are recreating a necklace made to look like a name brand designer. It is made out of crystal quartz. We don't have the money for crystal quartz but we want the sparkle of the clear stone. Plastic doesn't shine...which type of we lmaterial should look for to make that perfect shine and glamour look?

Swavorski crystal is very shiny and it comes in many different forms, for example I use it on my nail art. It is very nice and it comes in different sizes, and not to mention it has a cheap price tag!
