I watched this documentary about children and how they makes puppets out of plates and paper....?

I need to write about how beneficial that can be for children but I'm all out of ideas! Can you please help?

many behavioral therapists use puppets as a means for kids to express themselves without speaking in the first person. Psychologists use them too. Making puppets would be akin to this I would believe because they could model the puppet to whatever form they want and use their imagination to design a puppet in their own self image.

My son is into art. he was asked to make a self portrait. He painted a picture of a kid with dark spiked hair, green eyes, ear ring and a tattoo. He's blond, blue eyed and no extra nonsense. He drew the picture of how he sees himself.
