Dude, in college, you don't get to do whatever you want. Wait...You can do whatever you want, just be prepared to pay for it. If you want to be in university to do something worthwhile, you'll be fine. It sounds, though, that you just want to get away so instead of wasting your professors' time and your own, why not hit the road with a pack and a friend? You certainly can do whatever you want then.
