What did you do today? (Please answer in Haiku only!)?

For those of you who are unfamiliar, haiku is a form of japanese poetry. Generally, the first line will have five syllables, the second line will have seven syllables, and the third line will have five syllables again. I'll start!

a line drawn in flesh
slowly oozes crimson blood
my papercut woes

cookies tempting me
mint, chocolate, crunch and devour
greedy; stomach ache

internet beckons
time floats away, no reward
unfulfilling plans.

Parade, a new year
weekend unfurls its promise
the pig, a clown; work

(um... I don't have a weekday job... but I'm going to be in the chinese new year's day parade this weekend! Year of the Pig)
